I was surprised to see the interactions and below ice activities, while ice fishing in Maine for giant northern pike. Fishing shallow, we caught our share of bass but I had no idea how many times they check out the bait and play with the bait.

joe, having trouble hearing you under the water…not even a muffle.
That is some sick footage man. I love the underwater stuff.
That’s why I don’t specifically target bass because they are so damn lazy!
hey joe big ice fishing fan here from maine and I was wondering if you could take me and my friend out on the ice sometime to teach us the basics of ice fishing.
So cool!! You should do a vid with trout.. be sick to see how they mess with the bait
Great video! What lake was your video shot at?
Cool view!!!!!!
Wow Joe. This was very informative. I didn’t realize how lazy a bass can be. Or is it that the are that cautious. Seems that the more active the bait the more interested the bass. That pike didn’t waste any time at all. Great vid Joe! Thanks for posting it.
great channel..
ive subbed and hope for one back
keep fishing and tight lines
That was neat to watch. You should try jigging a rattle trap really hard just to see what they do.
The bass' reactions are slow and inaccurate, that's why I rip off a fin or tear off a tail, making it easier for the bass to catch it.
Another great underwater video. Well done
Awesome vid Joe
You going back on the tour any time soon?
And Happy Thanksgiving
That was cool. That pike didn't mess around
Hi
